Disaster Response
Drinkable water is critical for survival in an emergency.
In the event of a natural disaster or other emergency situation, clean, safe drinking water is essential for everyone, including first responders. Households and governments alike depend on the cost-saving, space-saving reliability that LIFESAVER Bottles and Jerrycans provide. LIFESAVER® products purify water in excess of EPA standards – removing bacteria, viruses, cysts, parasites, fungi, and all waterborne pathogens, all without the use of chemicals. LIFESAVER’s unique activated carbon filter reduces the effects of heavy metals, chemical, and medical residues. In addition, the LIFESAVER® bottle produces sterilized water under pressure allowing it to be used as a wound irrigator or eyewash. All LIFESAVER products are BPA-free.
LIFESAVER’s patented pump system means that water is filtered on demand, eliminating the need for storage and guaranteeing that it’s clean at the point of consumption.
Ease of delivery
One standard sized pallet of LIFESAVER Jerrycans is the equivalent of transporting 1 million liters of bottled water. A single pallet weighs just 220 kilograms and can be transported by a small van. It would require 14 large transport planes to move the same quantity of bottled water.
Reduced plastic waste
LIFESAVER technology dramatically reduces plastic waste – less plastic bottles being distributed means less pollution at the point of manufacture and less plastic waste at the point of use.
